Your own beach in Malibu on the pacific Ocean
Aerial preview of your private Billion dollar beach – Pirate cove beach and Point Dume in Malibu:
You don’t have to be a Billionaire to have your own private beach on the shores of Pacific Ocean in the heart of Malibu! What? Seriously, you don’t! There’s a place known as the Pirate Cove located at Point Dume, which is easily accessible especially during low tides.

Deserted most of the time especially during morning and midday on the week days. This beach is definitely a secret locations that locals don’t really want you to know about.

Where is the Pirate Cove beach ?
If you Google map Pirate’s Cove – 3 locations around the shores of LA will immediately pop up. One in Malibu, one in Long Beach and one in Newport beach. You want to go to the one in Malibu.

Located immediately adjacent to the Zuma beach, or better yet at the distant most end of the Westward Beach at Zuma. It’s not very apparent how to get there.

Parking for your private Billion dollar beach in Malibu
1. Option one – park for FREE at the Westward Beach Rd right as you get off of PCH Address: Westward Beach Rd, Malibu, CA 90265
2. Option two – Parking Lot for Westward beach about $12.50 for day use

How to get to the secluded beach ?
You will have to exercise a bit of dexterity while you curve around the rock formations at the very end of the westward beach. In fact, if you decide to pay for parking you can drive all the way up to the rocks, without having to walk the entire length of the beach.

You are required to walk/ climb – minimally around some sharp rocks. I highly recommend you to climb during the low tide, just so that you won’t be accidentally swept into the Pacific Ocean.

Welcome to your exclusive beach getaway right in Malibu
You are invited to an exclusive private party, where you have a piece of beach and never ending ocean all to yourself!!! The only neighbors that can occasionally disturb your solitude are the seals from a nearby rookery, occasional flock of pelicans or a family of dolphins.

I can’t count the number of times when I would come out to the Pirate’s cove beach in Malibu and have the entire place to myself.

Having a bit of Pacific Ocean and the entire paradise all to myself reminded me of the classic Hollywood movies. This is however your own story and you get to write what you’d like! This is ultimately best secret location in the whole of Los Angeles that we’d like to share with all our friends, acquaintances and subscribers.

Just keep in mind that you will have to come early and on a weekday. Nevertheless due to minor accessibility constrains usually very few people make it to the beach and it’s a pleasant beach that typically doesn’t become overcrowded even on weekends!

What else will you see at the Pirate’s cove beach ?
During the breeding period you will have a chance to spot families of sea lions nesting at the farther end of the beach with their little ones. Additionally, you have a good chance to spot families of dolphins and whales pass by. Pelicans and other marine birds
