
One of the best free places in San Diego is the Aquarium in La Jolla
The best part about San Diego aquarium – IT IS FREE. Well not exactly, typically you will have to pay, however it is Free every month of the year! To be specific, Birch aquarium in La Jolla is free every first full weekend of each month for Bank of America card holders. Every parents who works in the state of California already has one(since you get a BoA card for receiving paternity/maternity leave state benefits)!

Bonus: You can shave a few bucks off with a Groupon, which you can conveniently purchase right before you enter the water world.
So if you live in the area, or just visiting there’s a good chance that you have a an opportunity to see the Scripps aquarium. And it is well worth checking out with kids of all ages, including the big kids (talking about the dad’s out there).

Without further adieu (which is a very weird eggcorn btw) lets dive in and see what awaits you! There are tons of aquatic marvels to gaze at. All sorts of local and tropical fish. Tons of exhibits. Even an outside petting zoo where you can touch sea hairs and stars. Yeah, it’s a great success with parents.
