What a marvelous spectacle! We highly recommend dedicating a good hour or two hiking around the Glacier point while exploring Yosemite National park in Northern California with your kids.

Note: Glacier Point Rd is closed during the winter month, simply because it’s covered with a a few feet of snow. The way leading to the Sentinel dome and the Glacier off of Wawona road is not accessible all year around
We made so many memories while site seeing Sierra mountains and Glacier point probably makes it to the top 5 absolute-must-visit locations at this national park. The hike to the overlook is perfect to combine with the Sentinel Dome hike. The parking by both is spacious especially if you come early in the morning unlike down below in the valley.
