There’s simply no point of performing extensive historical research or finding fascinating facts about a particular locale while traveling. Especially while exploring the world with your kids, you can’t always prepare for unexpected.

More than often you will be pleasantly surprised. Finding a labyrinth at the Land’s end with our son was pretty fun ending to an already eventful weekend.

Clearly our son was overtaken by the amount of “unwanted” rocks simply laying out in the open. Immediately he went to redesign the mysterious concentric circles.

We discovered yet another cool spot in the Land’s end park, which continues to pleasantly surprise us even after years of hiking the local San Francisco paths.

You can find lots of interesting info from Fog City Secrets page. We also enjoy identifying the landmarks while flying over the peninsula on a plane. Another cool spot to check out while in NorCal is the San Francisco’s Golden Gate bridge.
