Like any good story the tale of Annenberg Space for photography has come to a spectacular culmination. An art gallery served millions of photography patrons for almost a decade. My wife and I have a personal bond with the exposition located on the Avenue of Stars in the Century City. We shared many pleasant dates at the Annenberg as it accompanied us along our journey through time that we spent in California.

We went to the circulating gallery for cultural enrichment, to satisfy quenching thirst for curiosity and simply to open up our horizons. Always a pleasure to see an eye candy works of fabulous photographers and lesser known talents. Thankfully you can still see all the show that were translated to “The Exhibits” section of the website.

Although lesser grandeur, you can experience or further explore the creators behind “EMERGING,” “National Geographic Photo Ark, ” PEARLS OF THE PLANET,” and hundreds more.

Wallis Annenberg – the benefactor
The photographic space was graciously sponsored by Wallis Annenberg the benefactor behind the Annenberg swimming pool in Santa Monica, Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, Annenberg theater in Palm Springs, and a lifelong supporter for many of the USC students.

We had a unique opportunity to explore the works of other photographers as they captivated the viewers with most fascinating perspectives all around the globe. Now, during the global pandemic you too can still enjoy the still and motion pictures from the Annenberg space for photogrphy from the comfort of your home.

We absolutely recommend you to indulge in the well organized, elegantly designed web space. Go on a little getaway around the world with renowned photogrphers during the COVID 19 lock down. The Annenberg space for photography is still alive now transitioned to the digital space.
Alternatively you may visit some of the recently opened galleries in Laguna Beach located in Orange County.
