Allow me to introduce you to the Ansel Adams – a remarkable American wilderness landscape photographer. He’s mostly known around the world for his Black and White gelatin silver prints of California landscapes.
Look into Ansel’s fascinating life story. Wikipedia seems like a natural place to begin your acquaintance.
Yosemite valley hosts the gallery in his name which harbors some of his work and the creations of other lesser known artists.

It’s incredible to think that we had a unique opportunity to travel around the golden state, literally in his footsteps, exploring the nature of the west coast. Perhaps one day, I will be half as good at capturing the temperamental California wilderness.

We recommend checking out the visitor center with your kids located nearby, as well as the Native American village museum.
